Freez FM
Freez FM is a Dutch commercial regional radio station which broadcasts nonstop pop and rock music, interspersed with regional news. ==2000-2006== Freez FM originally started in 2000 and was broadcast on 96.6 FM (North Friesland), 96.0 FM (East Friesland) and 94.1 FM (South West Friesland). After the Zero Base auction in June 2003 the station was also a wave frequency in Groningen on 89.1 FM. From December 2003 the station was also heard in the Randstad on 96.3 FM (Alkmaar), 93.6 FM (Amsterdam), 97.3 FM (Haarlem) and 97.4 FM (Purmerend). 〔(Freez FM verlegt grenzen naar de Randstad ), Friesch Dagblad, November 26, 2003〕 Freez FM sent nonstop rock music. In 2004, the North Holland frequencies were acquired by WILD FM. On September 21, 2006 in Groningen, the frequency was acquired by RADIONL and a day later was RADIONL also be heard on the Frisian frequencies. That kept Freez FM to exist.
